The chances are on the low side at first, but gradually increase as you level further. Legendary armor can be obtained as random rewards for completing Gigs once you hit level 32. ![]() There are Iconic Legendary armors, but the generic stuff is usually better since you can add your own mods. If you were to, for example, fill all of those slots with Armadillo mods for additional armor bonuses, you can get a mildly ridiculous amount of defense. Legendary armor usually has the highest base armor stat, as well as the most mod slots. To that end, the best armor in the game is of the Legendary quality, which you aren’t likely to find until you’re at least level 30. As you become stronger, you’ll just naturally start finding better armor on bodies and in shops. ![]() The armor stat on the clothes you find scales up as you level up. Iconic clothes sometimes have special effects like slight stamina increases or damage resistances, but the objectively “best” armor in the game usually boils down to two factors: the actual armor stat, and the number of Mod slots. ![]() While there is Iconic clothing, of which there is only a single instance, they aren’t usually any better than the generic clothing pieces you can get from shops or off of killed enemies. Let’s start by clarifying something: there isn’t a singular “best” piece of armor or clothing in Cyberpunk 2077.
